One of the most popular and successful ACI programs is the annual awards contest, which recognizes excellence and promotes craft improvement through competition. First, second, and third-place winners receive plaques. Professionals from the public and private sectors evaluate all entries and offer written constructive critiques.

The 2025 ACI Awards contest will open in January of 2025 and will be for work that was published in calendar year 2024. There is a fee of $40 per entry which helps cover the cost of running the contest and supports ACI’s mission to further natural resource conservation and exchange. Entry fees will be invoiced after the annual conference in July 2025.

Judges Needed!
The awards contest would not be possible without the panels of judges who graciously volunteer their time to review and score entries. If you are interested in being a judge this year, please contact Awards Co-Chairs Chris Martin or Beth Quillian as soon as possible. Judges do not need to be members of ACI and we welcome professionals from the public and private sector. Feel free to share this with your colleagues!
Note: A judge may not participate in a category in which their agency or organization has submitted an entry. If you are interested in being a judge, please check with your agency to confirm that there is no conflict before volunteering to judge a category.
