This issue of The Balance Wheel is my last one as editor. After seven years as Communication/Membership Chair, I am stepping down at the end of September to accept a new position as a Full-time Retiree.

I have been involved with ACI in one way or another since 1981. Along the way, I have learned a great deal and (I hope) grown as a conservation communicator. More importantly, I have made many wonderful friends. For that, I will be forever blessed and grateful.

At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, being involved with ACI has truly changed my life. My sincerest hope is that ACI will have the same effect on you.
