Presenters, Panelists Wanted for Tahoe Workshop
(03/15/22)
By Ashley Sanchez, Nevada Dept. of Wildlife
The 6th International Human-Bear Conflicts Workshop will be Oct. 16-18 at Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe. We encourage everyone involved in any facet of human-bear conflicts to attend and participate as we work together to explore pathways toward progress, promote coexistence and better understand, prevent and resolve human-bear conflicts.
We are currently seeking presenters and/or panelists for several sessions – including a communications panel. We’re looking for social media experts, public information officers and reporters with experience in human-bear conflicts (or any wildlife conflicts) to speak on the panel.
If you’re interested in presenting, being on a panel, submitting a poster or would like to share a success story, or recommend something or someone for consideration, we want to hear from you! Find our submissions guidelines at this link.
Feel free to share our Facebook post and Twitter thread. Find more information about the conference here: Human Bear Conflicts – Creating new methods of reducing human-bear conflicts.
