Colleagues –
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, have had to postpone the 2020 ACI Conference, originally scheduled for July 19-22 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The new dates for the annual conference are Nov. 8-11, with the Locavore Workshop add-on option Nov. 12. The location remains the same.
The new deadline for ACI Awards submissions is June 5, at midnight (PDT). You can enter online now until the deadline.
The new deadline for Travel Scholarship applications is July 31. You can apply here.
ACI is committed to preventing the spread of the virus and wants to ensure agency staffs have adequate time to stand back up after this terrible national crisis.
In the coming weeks, New Mexico’s conference planning team will reach out to speakers and sponsors to adjust plans for the conference. Registration will be open within the next week or so. If you have immediate questions concerning the conference, please feel free to contact ACI vice president Lance Cherry by phone at 505-321-8162 or email lance.cherry@state.nm.us. If you made hotel reservations, you should cancel those. When we obtain a new Group number we’ll let you know so you can re-book.
As new plans and information develop, we’ll update the Conferences page of the website.
As ACI’s president, I want to thank you for your understanding. In the months to come, please keep yourself, your friends and your families safe. We hope to see you all in November.
