Hunting season is upon us! I hope you all have plans to get out in the woods somewhere this year. Jo Liz and I (and Daddy) will be heading out into the woods for her first hunt. She is already practicing in the back yard with squirrels and birds. It warms my heart. If you don’t have plans to get out in the woods, I personally invite you to come with me. I’ll be glad to take any ACI person on a hunt at my family farm in Alabama. Just shoot me an email, and we will work out a time.
There are 2 cool work things that I wanted to share with you.
- Don’t be afraid to ask a partner to give you discounts. We (TWRA) sent this out this week and have had lots of license sales off of it so far. We just asked Academy for a coupon, and they said yes. TWRA/Academy Sports coupon
- If you are doing any digital ad placement, it’s time to try geofencing. Starting in May, we ran geofenced ads around the Nashville Farmer’s Market and the Pigeon Forge Wilderness Wildlife Week. Check out the results! (ROAS is return on ad spend and conversions are people that purchased licenses) There are lots of places where people go who are more likely to purchase licenses.
