The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation and ACI is initiating a project to help states design and construct ranges that will appeal to larger segments of the public, thereby maintaining and growing interest in the shooting sports.

We are seeking 8-10 volunteers from state agencies and industry leaders who are engaged in range construction and operations. Your experience about the types of shooting opportunities states can offer, what the public is most interested in, and construction and operation constraints would be very beneficial.

The task will entail commenting on a draft questionnaire to be produced and fielded by our partner, Southwick Associates, probably in May and June. We will later seek your input about how to best package and disseminate the results to ensure maximum awareness and use.
