The ACI Awards Contest is Now Open!
The 2023 ACI Awards Contest is now open! The contest is an opportunity for ACI members to showcase work accomplished in the previous year (2023). ACI is the only nationwide competition exclusively for education, information and public relations professionals who specialize in conservation. The contest features 35 categories and promotes craft improvement through competition.
Each year we receive hundreds of incredible entries from our members at state and federal agencies and conservation organizations. The contest concludes at the annual ACI conference with an awards presentation recognizing the top entries in each category.
There is a fee of $40 per entry which helps cover the cost of running the contest and supports ACI’s mission to further natural resource conservation and exchange.
Important Dates:
Contest opens for entries: January 17, 2024
Entry deadline: Thursday, April 4, 2024
Judging opens: April 17, 2024
Judging closes: May 15, 2024
Judges needed!
The contest would not be possible without the panels of judges who graciously volunteer their time to review and score entries. This year we are hoping to recruit 105 judges! Filling all the judging slots is a tall order and we welcome new and old judges to participate in this year’s contest. Please share this with your colleagues and encourage them to consider coming onboard as a judge!
If you are interested in being a judge for ACI, please reach out to ACI Awards Co-Chairs Beth Quillian (beth.s.quillian@odfw.oregon.gov) or Chris Martin (christopher.martin1@wyo.gov).
